eBay business policies
Dropship Calendar uses real eBay business-policy IDs when creating listings. Built-in Dropship Calendar choices are templates until they are mapped to a confirmed policy on the connected seller.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”- Confirm the intended eBay seller is connected.
- Enroll that seller in eBay Business Policies.
- Create or review the policies directly on eBay.
Refresh policies
Section titled “Refresh policies”- Open Settings → eBay Policies.
- Confirm the connected seller.
- Choose Refresh policies.
- Wait for payment, return, and shipping policy results.
- Review the refresh summary and last-success information.
All three policy collections must be fetched successfully before Dropship Calendar replaces its local mirror. A partial failure preserves the previous complete set and selections.
Refresh does not silently create generic policy baselines. Automotive support can preserve its separate policy behavior.
Select and save
Section titled “Select and save”Choose one available policy for each required type:
- Payment.
- Return.
- Shipping or fulfillment.
Then save. A built-in template that has not yet been mapped can be materialized only through the approved settings flow. Fresh listing and Automator jobs do not create policies at posting time.
Reconnect behavior
Section titled “Reconnect behavior”Reconnecting the same seller preserves that seller’s selections. A different seller has isolated policy and selection state. Never assume the previous seller’s policy names or IDs carry over.
Common problems
Section titled “Common problems”eBay Business Policies are not enabled
Section titled “eBay Business Policies are not enabled”Use the enrollment link shown in the persistent notice, complete enrollment on eBay, then refresh again.
A selected policy disappeared
Section titled “A selected policy disappeared”The policy may be unavailable or changed on eBay. Refresh, select a current policy, save, and test one listing.
Refresh failed
Section titled “Refresh failed”The previous complete policy set should remain available. Do not repeatedly save an incomplete state. Confirm eBay authorization and try one refresh later.
Listing says to refresh policies
Section titled “Listing says to refresh policies”The queued listing could not validate its saved policy IDs against the current connected seller. Refresh and save all three selections, then retry only that listing.
