Item Finder overview

Item Finder helps you research products associated with selected shops and move eligible candidates into Import List.

  • Shops identifies the stores you follow and their scan state.
  • Products shows research cards, filters, availability, and listing actions.
  • Profit Cockpit summarizes pricing and profit signals for the current product context.
  • History and progress show recent scan or listing activity.
  • Automator can find candidates or post from Import List using saved limits.
  1. Add a shop.
  2. Start or refresh its scan.
  3. Wait for the shop’s progress to finish.
  4. Apply filters to reduce the product set.
  5. Verify promising products on the supplier site.
  6. Add eligible products to Import List.
  7. Prepare and post them from Import List.

Item Finder uses indexed product data for fast research, while final materialization and listing actions use authoritative checks. Counts may change after:

  • A scan refreshes product details.
  • A product enters Import List or becomes live.
  • You block or allow a product again.
  • A VERO or restricted-product result changes.
  • Another queued action completes.

A briefly stale count does not bypass the final checks.

A candidate may be unavailable because:

  • It is already active in your Import List or live listings.
  • You placed its Amazon ASIN in Blocked Products.
  • It is VERO or restricted.
  • The card is not ready or no longer globally displayable.
  • The shop attachment was removed.
  • The product failed a current write-time safety or availability check.

See Product eligibility for the distinction between these states.

Treat Item Finder metrics as decision support, not a guarantee. Verify the current supplier offer, shipping cost, product condition, variation, delivery promise, and eBay competition before staging a product.
