Automator overview

Automator combines two separate stages:

Find Products selects eligible Item Finder candidates and adds them to Import List.
Post From Import List claims eligible drafts and sends them through the normal eBay posting path.

You can configure and use one stage without assuming the other has succeeded.

Find Products

Automator searches current Item Finder candidates using your saved:

Target quantity.
Minimum and maximum supplier price.
Minimum profit.
Minimum sales.
Optional maximum number of members listed.

Candidate discovery is fast, but final SQL checks still verify shop attachment, readiness, safety, active presence, and Blocked Products before creating an Import List row.

If a stale candidate fails a final check, Automator skips it and can request a replacement until the target is met or no eligible candidates remain.

Post From Import List

The posting stage uses:

Target quantity.
Profit margin.
Optional AI title customization.
Immediate or scheduled posting.

It does not create eBay business policies. Every listing must resolve the connected seller’s saved, verified payment, return, and shipping policy IDs.

Post now and scheduled posting

Use Post now for a supervised small batch. Scheduled posting uses the configured UTC time; verify the timezone conversion before relying on the schedule.

Status and errors

Automator can show a count or preview that is briefly stale because discovery information is cached. This affects the preview, not the authoritative write checks.

Common outcomes include:

Fewer products found than requested.
Products skipped because they became present, blocked, VERO, restricted, or otherwise ineligible.
Import List rows created but not yet posted.
Posting paused by missing eBay policies or account authorization.

Review Import List after every run. A completed find stage is not proof that the posting stage completed.
