Volume Checker

Volume Checker is an eBay listing setting named Auto-remove unsold listings after 29 days.

  1. Open Settings → eBay Settings.
  2. Find Volume Checker.
  3. Choose the desired enabled or disabled value.
  4. Save settings.

The setting applies to future eligibility checks; it does not immediately delete every older listing.

Volume Checker is intended for eligible listings that have not received a first sale within 29 days of posting. Current product state and removal guards are checked before local state changes.

The threshold is based on the listing’s posting timeline, not simply the day you enabled the setting.

When an eligible external removal and local deletion succeed:

  • The product is no longer live in My Products.
  • Its local lifecycle can appear in Archived Products.
  • Item Finder presence is recomputed.

Volume Checker does not create a personal Blocked Products entry. If no other active Import List row or live listing exists, the product can become eligible for discovery again.

A failed external removal must not be represented as a successful local deletion. The listing can remain active and its presence can remain active. Check My Products and eBay before taking another action.

Quantity-zero and automatic quantity settings can affect how other stock conditions are handled. Review those settings separately; enabling Volume Checker does not redefine every out-of-stock or repricing action.
