eBay Policy Protection

App guide · Eligibility and safety

Dropship Calendar scans your connected eBay store for policy violations. When eBay reports a policy problem with one of your listings, Dropship Calendar takes care of the product and listing for you.

When a policy violation identifies one of your products, Dropship Calendar:

  1. Matches the exact eBay listing to your store.
  2. Blocks the Amazon product so it cannot be listed again through your account.
  3. Tries to end the eBay listing if eBay has not already removed or hidden it.
  4. Archives the product in My Products after a successful or already-removed result.
  5. Sends you an in-app listing notification with the outcome.

Most policy violations are handled automatically, so you do not need to block the product or remove the listing yourself. Dropship Calendar matches the exact listing instead of guessing from a similar product title. If the exact listing cannot be found or eBay does not confirm its removal, you receive a notification telling you that the listing needs your attention. This helps keep your store and day-to-day operations safe.

Open Notifications and choose the Listings filter. You may see one of these outcomes:

  • Removed for you: Dropship Calendar blocked the Amazon product and ended the eBay listing.
  • Already removed by eBay: eBay had already made the listing unavailable. Dropship Calendar blocked the Amazon product and archived the matching product in My Products.
  • Needs your attention: Dropship Calendar blocked the Amazon product, but eBay did not confirm that the listing was removed. Check the listing on eBay and contact support if it is still active.

A notification reports what Dropship Calendar recorded. When a listing needs your attention, always check eBay before assuming buyers can no longer see it.

Dropship Calendar currently uses Amazon as its product supplier. Open Import List → Blocked Products to find the Amazon product that was blocked. A policy block shows:

  • Blocked by: eBay policy violation.
  • The policy name when it is available.
  • A message explaining that the product cannot be allowed again.

Policy blocks do not have an Allow again button. This prevents the same Amazon product from being added or posted again after eBay identified a policy problem.

Sometimes a listing still appears in Active Listings even though eBay has hidden it from buyers. Dropship Calendar still tries to end and archive the exact listing so My Products stays aligned with eBay.

Do not relist the product while reviewing the notice.

Intellectual-property and Counterfeit notices

Section titled “Intellectual-property and Counterfeit notices”

Intellectual-property notices can involve copyright, trademark, patent, design, or eBay’s VeRO program. Counterfeit notices concern products eBay believes may be fake, unauthorized, or not authentic.

These terms can overlap, but they are not identical. A Counterfeit Policy notice is not automatically proof that a VeRO rights owner reported the listing.

For either type:

  1. Do not relist the product.
  2. Read the full notice and policy link in eBay’s Resolution Hub.
  3. Follow eBay’s appeal or response instructions if you believe the decision is incorrect.
  4. Choose a different product unless eBay confirms that the listing is allowed.
  1. Open the listing directly on eBay.
  2. If it is still active, do not create another listing for the product.
  3. Keep the product blocked in Dropship Calendar.
  4. Contact support with safe identifying details.

You can send:

  • The eBay listing ID.
  • The policy name.
  • The approximate time of the notice.
  • A screenshot with your email, username, account details, and private links hidden.

Never send your eBay password, access token, full account credentials, buyer information, or an unedited marketplace message containing private account details.
