Edit listing details
Review each product before posting, especially after a source refresh or automated title change.
Keep the title accurate, readable, and consistent with the selected variation. AI-assisted title customization can rewrite a source title, but you remain responsible for the final text.
- Remove unsupported claims and irrelevant source text.
- Do not add brands, compatibility, quantity, or condition details you cannot verify.
- Keep the title aligned with the images and item specifics.
Images
Section titled “Images”Choose a clear primary image and review every additional image. Remove images that show:
- A different variation or bundle.
- Unsupported accessories.
- Supplier watermarks or promotional material.
- Personal or account information.
Image processing or transfer can continue in the background. Do not post until the intended images are visible in the draft.
Description template
Section titled “Description template”Select an approved eBay description template. Preview the product content inside that template and remove supplier-specific fulfillment promises that you cannot make.
Category and item specifics
Section titled “Category and item specifics”Confirm the eBay category matches the actual product. Complete every required item specific and verify condition, brand, model, size, color, material, compatibility, and identifiers where applicable.
If eBay rejects a listing for a missing or invalid item specific, correct the draft instead of repeatedly submitting the same values.
Pricing and profit
Section titled “Pricing and profit”Review:
- Supplier price.
- Supplier shipping.
- Supplier total cost.
- Target eBay price.
- Fixed-dollar or percentage profit rule.
The account policy or matching price-range rule may populate the draft automatically. Recalculate after changing supplier cost or profit.
eBay policies
Section titled “eBay policies”Every fresh eBay listing needs real policy IDs for:
- Payment.
- Returns.
- Shipping or fulfillment.
If a selection is missing or unavailable, refresh and save policies in Settings → eBay Policies. Listing-time policy creation is intentionally unavailable.
Save and verify
Section titled “Save and verify”Save the draft, reload the row, and confirm your changes remain. Then post one product first when you have changed a category, template, pricing rule, or policy selection.
